New Year, New Hair: Setting Your 2025 Hair Goals!

New Year, New Hair: Setting Your 2025 Hair Goals!

Today I’m thinking, “How are we THREE months into the new year?” So, of course, as the new “quarter” of the year passes, it makes you think and ask yourself if you have checked the box of some of your goals for the year that you placed on your vision board.

This year, what are your hair goals? Do you want to take a break from hair extensions, take a break from the curling iron heat, or even decide not to color those “sparkles” and let your hair do what it naturally wants to do? Whatever the goals and visions you have for your hair this year, PLEASE consult with a professional while you are in a small transition.

These days, I have been SUPER into watching the videos where the amazing Jack Martin transforms these beautiful ladies from grown-out color to their natural grey. I highly recommend you follow him and watch the transformations. I’ve done a few clients, and it is a lot of work but so worth it.

What are your “hair goals” for the year? And what products are you using to help you transition slowly?

Summertime Brings Summer Hair

Planning for the Summer?

For some clients it’s

  • Letting their blondes be a “lived in blonde” and not worrying about any maintenance.
  • Wearing hair extensions so there is less heat damage done to their hair.
  • Using braids so that you can avoid ALL heat used.
  • Not using heat on those perfect curls and learn to embrace them.

Whatever route you choose, just remember to continue with a conditioning mask, trims every 8-10 weeks, and using ONLY professional products. OHHHHH and most importantly, check in with your hairstylist with any questions or concerns.

Happy Summer!!!!

What Is “Summer Hair” in 2025?

Summer hair is all about effortless styles, natural texture, and keeping your hair healthy while enjoying the heat. Whether you’re letting your color grow out, opting for braids, or simply giving your hair a break from hot tools, the goal is simple: look good and feel free.

This year, the top 2025 Summer Hair Trends highlight low-maintenance looks, rich tones, and easy protective styles. From curtain bangs to soft copper shades, the focus is on looks that work with your texture and schedule—not against them.

No matter what trend you choose to try, keeping your hair healthy should still be the priority. That means staying on top of regular trims, using a deep conditioner or mask weekly, and protecting your hair from sun and heat damage. If you’re unsure which style or routine is best for your hair type this season, reach out to us here — we’re happy to help you create a summer plan that fits your lifestyle and makes you feel amazing.

Curly and Beautiful Hair

Today I had a client that was biracial (which often means that her hair texture was curly and beautiful), and she came to me after reaching out to many other stylists with no results. Her goal was to be a level 9-10 blonde with the tone being silver/beige. Some stylists did not agree with the color because her hair texture was too curly, while others would not color because it wasn’t a “natural” style to do. But after an extensive consultation with her and her commitment to maintenance with me monthly, our first service together went GREAT. We took her “brassy” roots to an ashier brown and then color corrected some of her “bands” to give her blonde a seamless blend. I’ll see her beautiful face and hair again in 4-5 weeks.
